I’m excited about our new series, Playlist.  God has blessed us with a tremendous Creative Team.  They meet at the beginning of each series to brainstorm on creative ideas and how to implement them.  Jackson Gabrielle has been doing a great job at giving leadership to the team.  I think this is going to be a great series.  As Randy Jackson would say, “We got another hot one, baby!” Playlist will be a four-week series based on four popular songs pulled from Billboard 100.  We’re planning to hit Viva La Vida by Coldplay, Blame It by Jamie Foxx ft. T-Pain, Miss Independent by Ne-Yo, and You Found Me by The Fray.  The team dropped Disturbia by Rihanna for the Coldplay song.  Sorry, Rihanna! No offense.  The most effective series designs are those that are simple and basic at the core.
