I haven’t done one of these in awhile, but here goes. Keith Battle, Senior Pastor of Zion Church, dropped in and paid us a surprise visit on Sunday. It was his first time being at The Bridge. It was so great to see him. Keith is my mentor and I still consider him my pastor. He’s such an encourager and, as usual, is already challenging me to begin thinking about the next level. We had a few sound issues with our movie clips, but everything else was great. We had a HUGE number of first time guest. We had about twenty first time guests this week! That’s the most we’ve ever had. Amazing! Afterwards, I attended a meeting with our Expression team. They are planning an outdoor concert called Expression Live which will take place in downtown Silver Spring on Saturday, August 23rd. Sounds like it’s going to be amazing. I’ll keep you guys posted.
