We launched our God in 3D series yesterday. We kicked it off with Iron Man as we discussed choosing honor over compromise. God honor those who honor Him. In the movie, Tony Starks made a decision to stop producing nuclear weapons even though this would cost him to loose billions of dollars in future profits. We too have to make decisions of integrity, even though it may appear to take us two steps backwards. The right decision may mean us taking a lower salary, choosing not to cheat to get the promotion, or turning away from what appears to be an open door. We looked at Daniel 1 where Daniel made a decision not to defile himself with the kings choice food. From the surface, it seemed as if the decision would cost Daniel to loose everything he had going for him: fine dining, great education, and secured future employment. His decision to honor God caused God to honor him. The Lord showered him with favor beyond measure. Next week, we tackle Spider-Man 3!
