We kicked off our new series on financial stewardship called, Prison Break. It was only during praise and worship that I realized that it was a holiday weekend! I knew, but for some reason it slipped my mind. Four day weekends always mean an attendance dip at The Bridge. A young lady, who’s a friend of a family that attends our church, was in a near-fatal car accident a few weeks ago. She has been unconscious since the accident. I just got a text message that she woke up! Praise God! Nothing beats prayer. Our church family decided on Sunday to show love towards her in a tangible way. Yesterday was date day with the wife. We hung out and caught a double feature: Indiana Jones and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. Indiana was just OK. Chronicles was amazing. Our Creative Team did a great job with the video for Prison Break. Two guys from Zion Church, John and Anthony, assisted with the acting. Got to give shout outs to Hans, Jackson, Jeff, and Glenn.
