Ju. Jones

Today was a pretty adventurous day.  This day would make Indiana Jones look like an amateur.  I was on my way to Los Angeles from Baltimore.  I am attending the Awaken Conference at Mosaic in Los Angeles.  I got to my transfer point of Atlanta O.K.  However, it was here that I met complete chaos.  I traveled standby and got stuck for hours.  I had to wait through at least four flights.  The flight I finally was placed on experienced a two hour delay!  God was simply testing my patience.  He reminded me that He has a way of working all things out.  At one point, I jumped from #40 to #6 on the list!

I ran into two Hollywood personalities at the airport.  The first one was Tasha Smith from Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married.  To be honest, when I first saw her I thought she was someone I knew from my previous church, Zion Church.  I then said, “No.  I know her, but it’s not from Zion.” It then came to me.  “Oh! Wow!”  Didn’t get a chance to speak to her, but I did dialogue with another young lady who appeared to be her twin sister.  Not sure if they are truly twins, but they are definitely sisters.  After waiting around a few hours, I ran into another person who looked quite familiar.  Lo and behold it was Daniele Donato the second place runner up of Big Brother 8.  I said, “Weren’t you on Big Brother?”  She replied, “Maybe.”  Yeah. Right. The tone of her voice gave her away.  We spoke for a brief moment before she boarded her airplane.  It took me a few hours, but I’m finally in L.A.!  Hello, Cali!
