Yesterday, we launched out our series, The Fear That Haunts Me, at The Bridge. I truly had a great time. Our attendance was around the same number. But get this! At least eight of our regular attenders were out of town. If they were there on Sunday, our attendance would have gone up. Our records demonstrate that outside of the service teams, our regular attenders attendance is growing each week. We still have first time guests that are walking off the street on Sundays. All glory goes to God. Prior to us showing the video trailer, someone knocked out the audio plug. You guessed it. The trailer ended up being a silent movie. Some people actually thought it was a silent film. Hey. Works for me.
Yesterday evening, I had the opportunity to speak at Mosaic Community Church in place of my great friend, D-Plum. This weekend was his and Marquita’s anniversary. I am so excited for them and what God is doing in their lives. He asked me to speak on fear and faith, which freed me up to do a similar talk on Sunday morning and evening. Thanks, D. You’re the man.
