I’m truly excited about our Expression event coming up on Friday, May 5th. I’m learning more and more about the rewards of engaging culture. It’s not always easy. As a pastor, it can be easier to engage other believers. You spend so much time with them. You already know their needs and tastes, especially if you teach on a regular basis. Meeting the community on their turf is a whole different ball game and requires a different mindset. I feel as if I am launching out into the deep. Will it work? Will it really connect? Will they enjoy it enough to return? Only God knows those answers. I believe it is worth the risk, even if we reach one person. The picture on the left is a display sign that I designed for the event.  The sign was all ready to go until I got the proof from the printing company showing that it was too pixelated.  I had to redesign the whole thing.  I was quite frustrated, but I think it was worth it.  The new design is a better fit for the personality and feel of Expression.  I also created a promo video.
